This law became hugely popular after the cinematic release of "The Secret", in 2006, and the release of the book "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne in 2007. Those supporting it claimed that the law is derived from Quantum Physics, which physicists have vehemently disagreed to. This law is also found in the writings of Annie Besant in 1919.
